The AR10 platform does not enjoy a common design between manufacturers, like the AR15.    As a result, there can and will be subtle differences in the parts kits of various manufacturers.  Some parts, like the fire control group, are shared with the AR15 platform to preserve the options for upgrading.  For best results, we recommend only using PSA PA10 parts with our uppers and lower receivers.  We do not recommend using other manufacturers parts in our products.

Does this also fit a PA15?

BEST ANSWER: No... it is dimensionally to big. It is meant for the PSA .308 and 6.5CM Uppers, with their larger ejection ports.
My ejection port cover opened. All the parts are there. But it will not close. Is there a way to adjust the cover so it closes?

BEST ANSWER: Check a few things. On the middle of the port cover there should be a captured detent. It will be exposed if the cover is flipped down. See if the detent is gunked up. That holds it in place when it up and pushed into place. You may not be pushing hard enough to close it. Simple but need to mention it. Last thing to check is if there is spring tension on the cover itself. I have never seen these fail but still a possibility. Only other thing I can think of is there may be obstruction in the receiver that is not allowing it to close. Hope it helps.

Eventually worked
I bought a PA10 ejection port cover assy and when I installed it I found it was too small. It was an AR-15 cover, not AR-10. Contacted PSA about the issue and got it resolved quickly. They sent me a new one which covers the ejection port very well. -1 star because the new ejection port cover assy's rod is too long (extends over the threads on the upper prohibiting me from tightening the barrel nut down all the way) and I'm going to have to cut it down to fit.

Not good
I used this on a gen 1 PA10 and the rod that holds everything in place was to long for the receiver. I bent the first one when trying to attach my hand gaurd, and the second one I grinned down until it would fit

Tight fit
My son and I built an AR10 with upper parts from PSA. The ejection port cover was a very tight fit to close but opened fine. We had to work and oil and work and oil for quit some time to get it to close better. After 240 rounds at the range it works much better closing.

Easy to install
The item fit well in my upper, waiting for the parts to finish the build (ordered from a different vendor).

Would have given it five stars, for the reason why, go see my review for PSA AR-15/5.56 Nickel Boron Bolt Carrier Group - 7791928.

It's Ok...but missing C-Ring
Without the C-Clip to hold the rod in place...this is pretty much worthless. The parts in the picture ARE there...however...the C-clip isn't pictured...and IS NOT supplied. So now I have to go find one. Pain the @ss. I looked on-line at brownells midway CTD...they ALL provide the C-clip. PSA does not. Live and learn. Small price to pay for a valuable lesson.

Fits perfectly.
Installed this in minutes and it fits perfectly. The spring has good tension and the rod is just the right size for the Odin works key mod hand guard.

Fine but didn't completely work for me.
Shipping and delivery was faster than usual but having some issues with the parts. The spring works perfect—however the door pops open way to easily without even moving the bolt carrier and also note that if you want to use the Midwest Industries Keymod handguard the ejection port pin/rod is too short and then end closest to the defector keeps popping out. I'm going to try to purchase MI's long ejection port rod to see if it fixes the issue.
